A Weekly Word

I have a strong desire to deepen my spiritual relationship with God, but in many ways have felt out of alignment with more traditional religious practices of Christianity. Despite this, I continue to be intentional about honoring God, myself, and those around me through daily practices in love, gratitude, and grace.  That daily practice — my quiet mediations with God, prayer life, study of Biblical passages, and time spent in conversation with other believers — has led me to compile a list of words from A-Z that I plan to delve into for the first half of this year, A Weekly Word.

A Weekly Word will encourage us to explore concepts like church, discipline, and faith by prompting us to focus our thoughts and energy on one word each week and committing to not just study, but live out, that word. My intention is that by sharing these words with you, it will encourage us to face each week ahead armed with truth and tools for healing. A Weekly Word comes from my journal to your inbox each week complete with a passage, prayer and practice to unpack.
