Day 2: Renewal | Freedom & Flow 2025

I hope this fast has already been meaningful for you. Yesterday, in the quiet of the snowy afternoon, I spent some time reflecting on freedom and what that actually looks like for me. And it feels like relinquishing control and trusting God even more deeply—not just as my safety net, but as my first choice in every decision, step or circumstance. Trusting in God, frees me to simply be.

I hope you’re beginning to find some clarity, too. But if you haven’t started yet, don’t worry—it’s not too late. Take a moment to decide what you want to give up, pick a time of day to sit with the daily prompts, and then jump in. It’s that simple. And if you need a little more info, you can learn more about the 21-day challenge here.

Today is Day 2, and we’re focusing on renewal. Maybe you’ve joined this fast feeling overwhelmed, broken, or just wanting for a new start in the new year. Regardless, God meets us exactly where we are, ready to renew us in ways that only He can.

Isaiah 40:31 tells us that “those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.” This idea of strength is beyond the physical, it’s this deep, spiritual refreshing that so many of us want and need. I am so grateful for this promise, that God is able and willing to breathe new life into us.

Take a moment today to reflect on the areas of your life where you need His renewal. Then take a deep breath, open your heart, and let God in.
